How We Do Redefine Blockchain Consulting

Blockchain Zoo team in action

When people think of a technology consulting company, a standard model comes to mind: sell expert hours for a fee, deliver a project, and move on to the next client. In blockchain, that model is common. We chose a different path. For us, consulting is the engine that funds a larger and more ambitious end: building an ecosystem and acquiring assets.

We Are Not Just Selling Advice; We Are Building an Investment Engine

On the surface, we deliver consulting services to generate revenue. But that is only the first phase of a much bigger plan. Our long-term goal is not to remain a service provider, but to become a holding company whose value is tied to the ecosystem we help create. We selectively trade consulting and implementation services for equity in the most promising client projects, typically targeting around 10% ownership. Over time, this converts intellectual capital into financial assets and decouples our growth from the linear constraints of billable hours.

We Scale by Creating Clones, Not by Hiring Armies

Faced with overwhelming demand, we realized that simply hiring more consultants would not solve the problem. Instead, we systemised our signature consulting method and built a replication model. We empower other entities through partnerships, joint ventures, and franchises to deliver our method in different regions. This approach scales our methodology and trust while our partners expand our reach. We grow faster and more globally than we ever could on our own.

We Were Not Satisfied with Existing Tech, So We Built Our Own

Rather than relying solely on existing blockchain platforms, we invested our own resources to build ZooBC from scratch. This was not technical curiosity; it was a strategic decision to solve barriers to mainstream adoption. ZooBC addresses issues such as dependency on cryptocurrency for non-financial deployments and regulatory constraints. It introduces Proof of Participation and was engineered to support government eID and public key infrastructures. Owning our technology stack gives us a strategic advantage, expedites implementation work, and delivers capabilities other consultancies simply cannot offer.

We Require the Blueprint Before the Building

Our consulting flow enforces a disciplined, multi-stage process that de-risks projects for everyone involved. Every engagement begins with paid Discovery and Technical Workshops, typically priced at USD 25,000 each, to align the business model and architecture. Only after that foundation is set do we move to a detailed Implementation Plan, usually ranging from USD 20,000 to USD 100,000. This plan defines every component the project requires. With a blueprint in place, clients can engage us for execution or take the plan elsewhere. The result is clarity, accountability, and dramatically lower execution risk.

Our CEO's Backstory Reads Like a Tech Thriller

Our strategy reflects the DNA of our founder and CEO, Roberto Capodieci. He sold his first video game at age 10, uncovered a major tech fraud and was personally thanked by US President Bill Clinton, and has spent nearly USD 2 million of personal funds to develop ZooBC. That depth of hands-on experience and personal commitment sets the tone for how we operate: bold, technical, and long-term.

Conclusion

We play the long game. Consulting generates immediate revenue while also acting as a deal-flow pipeline for equity investments. Proprietary technology strengthens our service business and becomes a licensable asset. This integrated approach transforms a traditional consultancy into a scalable, asset-generating enterprise. In a world focused on short-term gains, we use daily work to fund an entirely different endgame: building and owning the future.
